Meet Our Attorneys
Leslie Cimadevilla, is one of the founding members of the CMO Law Group, LLC. She graduated from St. Thomas University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a specialization in Latin American Affairs as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts in 1996. After spending some time at the United States Department of State as Consular Officer Intern for Child Services, she realized her passion for international, legislative and family affairs. She moved from Washington D.C. and back to her native State of Florida where she received her Juris Doctorate from Barry University School of Law where she excelled and received extensive recognition, including The Florida Association of Trial Lawyers Student Award and Tonya Young Scholarship. Mrs. Cimadevilla also interned for the 17th Circuit, was President of the Hispanic Association of Law Students, participated in achieving national recognition for the law school while clerking for a worker’s compensation firm on her spare time.
Mrs. Cimadevilla has also zealously represented servicers, national mortgage lenders and financial institutions throughout Florida handling residential foreclosures and has litigated and mediated thousands of foreclosure cases. Mrs. Cimadevilla also handles marital and family cases, including compassionate representation and protection of same-sex partnerships and their families. Additionally, she handles all aspects of real estate and business law, including business consulting and litigation.
Mrs. Cimadevilla is a licensed member of the Florida Bar and was admitted to practice in 2003. She is also a member of the Broward County Bar Association, Palm Beach Bar, Florida Lawyers Network, Broward County Women’s Law Association, and the Women’s Leadership and Empowerment Group of Palm Beach County. Mrs. Cimadevilla also devotes much of her time to several charitable organizations in Broward and enjoys spending her free time with her family and traveling.

She is also a member of the Broward County Bar Association, Palm Beach Bar, Florida Lawyers Network and Broward County Women’s Law Association. Mrs. Cimadevilla also devotes much of her time to several charitable organizations including Broward County’s Women in Distress, Tuesday’s Angels and Florida’s Initiative for Suicide Prevention. Recently married to Mr. Zoltan Gacs, Mrs. Cimadevilla happily resides in Plantation, Florida close to her family where she enjoys writing, boating and the arts.
Melissa Murray Ocasio, Melissa Murray Ocasio is a founding member of CMO LAW GROUP, LLC. An Atlanta, GA native, she received a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Auburn University. While obtaining a Juris Doctorate, Mrs. Ocasio also ventured in acquiescing her Masters of Business Administration simultaneously therewith from Barry University School of Law in 2001. Additionally in 2004 she obtained a Degree in Advanced Legal Studies. Mrs. Ocasio has assisted in vigorously representing hospitals throughout the United States with expansive knowledge in hospital collections, appeals, workers comp and negligence. In representing those hospitals, she assisted in helping the hospitals improve their management and revenue goals of nearly all the reimbursement and payment issues. Additionally, she has assisted various governmental institutions and municipalities to ensure their compliance with the Telecommunications Act of 1996. Mrs. Ocasio currently represents financially distressed clients with the home loan modification process, fights homeowner foreclosures and reduces individuals’ debt vis-à-vis either bankruptcy or debt settlements.
Mrs. Ocasio is a licensed member of the Florida Bar and the Federal Bar. Further, she is a member of the Broward & Palm Beach County Bar Associations, Christian Lawyers Association, BNI Of Palm Beach County, Womens Leadership and Empowerment Group of Palm Beach County and the Broward Women’s Law Association. Mrs. Ocasio is also bilingual (Spanish and English). Aside from being the financial administrator for the firm and one of the transactional attorneys, and managing partner, she also handles wills, including powers of attorneys, living wills, health care surrogates. Mrs. Ocasio is also an advocate against domestic violence and represents these clients zealously in court. Mrs. Ocasio, a married woman and mother of one, is also guardian to her grandmother with Alzheimer’s. Mrs. Ocasio will fight for you in all your financial and domestic matters!
Lally Adames, is the Legal Assistant of CMO Law Group, LLC. She graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelors of Arts in Legal Studies and minor in interpersonal communications. Having years of exposure to the field of law, Ms. Adames has an in depth understanding of the legal terms and rules associated with the legal profession. She assists in the daily functions of the firm and is versatile in our practice areas of law and court proceedings. Additionally, Ms. Adames serves as the Marketing Manager for the firm, providing our clients with updated news and events related to CMO Law Group, LLC and the growing practice of law. Ms. Adames is also bilingual (Spanish and English).
